We are a Target Shooting club, and do not have facilities for practical shooting disciplines, full-bore or shotgun. We do have a small field target section with limited facilities. There are no facilities for storing arms or ammunition on club premises, but the club has a small number of air and cartridge guns that may be used by members.
The Club is affiliated to the N.S.R.A. (the governing body for small-bore shooting), the N.R.A. and to the
Yorkshire County Small-bore Rifle and Pistol Association.
Our members are encouraged to take part in the various County and National leagues that these associations organise, and medals are regularly won by our members. We have a number of qualified instructors who will gladly help others to improve.
A number of our members regularly travel to National and County open shoots in Yorkshire and elsewhere, often collecting trophies and medals. Several of our members shoot for Yorkshire in the County teams, and members have represented England and GB.
